LonginesVintage Men’s Watch – Longines Art Deco Swiss Watch – This is a very handsome example of a mid 1930s Longines watch

Size: 28 mm wide; 39 mm lug to lug
Working Condition: Winds. Sets. Runs. Keeps Time.
Color: Gold filled
Circa: 1935
Movement: Longines Watch Co Swiss Seventeen Jewel 10L.
Band: Black padded leather band with gold color buckle.
Maker/Distributor: Longines Watch Company.
Remarks: It is a round dial watch with a square Art Deco structural frame and lugs. Quite special. The watch was worn by a man I call the “original” of the Monopoly Man. I know this from research I did based on the inscription on the back: “Presented to John R. Hollinger / by Atlantic City Forrest #11 T C L October 7-35” This is a Masonic inscription, T C L means Atlantic City Forest #11 Tall Cedars of Lebanon.
